friday?
shit work… and not much else…
as I decided to leave early since I was still in a disoriented mood off my pops,
a bird shit on my hand while I was walking around the grove ready to see “Dinner with Schmucks”

they say that’s good luck when a bird shits on you!

WELL, NEXT CALL I GOT WAS FROM MY BROTHER AND GUESS WHAT?
My pops was taken off life support!!!!!! he’s breathing normal and his billirubiin levels look good and his kidneys are even improving!

so me and my girl had a dope ass lunch at the Farm in the grove (best vanilla latte on fucking earth!), then we walked into Dinner With Schmucks and I knew there was a lot of hype behind it, but
there was this one chick in the movie who played the psycho stalker and it drove me NUTS! maybe because I’ve met stalkers like that, only thing is that I’ve deaded their asses before it got to the point of where it got in this movie…. but it was only a movie, but the shit angered me!

overall the movie was okay, nothing great.

then headed out to k-town to get some soontofu and then watched the bill maher stand up which was fucking hillarious! I can’t wait til he hits morongo casino to see the show live.

woke up and had to head into the store and clear up and start up a ton of orders….. shit took forever! all good though, we got some nice pieces in progress and we’ve been selling the gucci watches like hot cakes!

so after working at the slauson til mid afternoon, I met up with my fam IZ in koreatown at the galleria and meeting up with IZ is always a trip…
he’s 1 of the last remaining true asian G’z I know….. I know many others from different ethnic backgrounds, but not many who are korean and did real time…. He’s starting to bubble the fuck up now rap wise and we sat down for our monthly chop up over korean food…. some youngsters from a local ktown hood were there and IZ rolled up on them like it was 1987 and shit hahahahahha…. mannn… always a good time with my homey

so after a late lunch and work, I shook back to the trap to help my girl get her models ready for her bikini show… if you didn’t know my gf owns a bikini line called LolliMe and it honestly does real well

so we shot up to the key club for a rock and roll night and in the middle of the show, Nic had a 20 minute bikini show….. but we were there for over 2 hours! it was good to run into some old faces… my boy Sean runs the place and he’s an old school homey of 15+ years…. always nice to know people who run clubs even though I don’t go out anymore really….

so speaking of not going out… we decided to celebrate the bikini show going successful with hitting Playhouse lol…. we actually went to celebrate my boy Misha and Kelvin’s(playhouse) birthday parties….
it was a big deal because las vegas PURE resident DJ Marshall Barnes (AM’s protege) was headlining the night with a special tribute and guest…..

woke up early to eat a healthy breakfast(my girl makes daily but I forget to mention)
then my sister and twin nieces and brother in law stopped by to see my new bathroom, addition to the be@rs and toys… we talked about my pops and shit and the girls love Nic….. we’re gonna take them to universal studios soon

my 8 year old niece, next to my 4 foot kaws dissected companion lol

so as soon as my sister leaves the house, my boy Oleg(amazing photographer who is part of the platinum family…. he took the default picture of me on this page) sent me a text message about a malibu house party on the beach

he really took that picture himself no pshop nothing… smh…. asshole! if I wasn’t allergic to traffic I woulda rolled!

so we got a little bit hungry and headed over to westwood for some ramen….
after eating, my girl couldn’t finish hers so we were going to give it to a homeless person… didn’t find one, so we left it on top of the trash can outside the restaurant….. we walked into urban outfitters for 20 minutes and when we walked out back to the car, there was a homeless person eating it and enjoying it. It made us sad, but more grateful for the blessings we have for real….. I’m really glad I didn’t let the waiter throw it away…. I will waste money on liquor sometimes, but I really never ever try to waste food ever. I always try to take it home or give it away as my parents used to whoop my ass if I didn’t finish my plate at the dinner table….

anyways, westwood has changed so damn much its sad… during the mid to late 80’s westwood village was like the grove! nice shopping, nice restaurants and a lot of celebs and bel air residents would do their errands/shopping there. they also reigned supreme with the best movie theaters next to the main Century City theaters (torn down now). Now westwood is so cheap and dead…. but they put up a new palazzo west up there with a trader joes inside of it so we checked it out as we’re both addicted to trader joes.

then we stopped by our fave glutten spot Yogurt Land and headed back to the trap
when I got home, I got on twitter and seen my homey Kevin Scott say #sharkweek! I WAS LIKE OHHHHH SHIT THAT’S RIGGHTTT!!!! SHARK WEEK!!!!!
I started to tivo damn near everything on discovery channel!
I watched some ill shit before we had to leave…. but damn shark week, true blood and entourage?
amazing night of television….

we headed to k-town for Nic’s brother’s girlfriends bday….
we got a gift card to the Apple store, but I thought since she is such a fan of Travie McCoy(aka Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes) that I should hit him up and ask him to send her a special birthday tweet…. she freaked out and loved it more than the gift card. lol

got home and watched a gang of TV… true blood was good, but more of a leading up episode…. entourage is getting decent… but shark week shows are off the chains literally!

so I woke up monday and had to handle biz early as hell…..
then I shot up to a undisclosed location which I’ll reveal tomorrow lol

so I said I’d be on my diet…. so for lunch friday me and my boo walked over to Vegan Glory…
MAN! shit gets better and better!
no joke, the food there is amazing and what’s best is that my girl is so fucking unselfish it drives me insane because everytime we go out to eat, she orders something I can eat or I’d like over what she really wants. pisses me off because I sometimes want to order a chicken or beef dish…. but I’d stalled out on red meat for while… in fact, it’s pretty much chicken and fish for now… but Vegan Glory has a great menu and my girl can have anything on it.

the steamed veggie dumplings were very good… but the Vegan Beef Burrito was insane amazing! tasted as good as kogi truck, but without the BG’s! and the steak sandwich? jesus…. shit was so flavorful! damn! and they deliver! I’ll be coming back for 3rds and 100ths!

also just opened down the street from me is the famous New York Bakery; Magnolia!
man I have driven past it for a week, but didn’t know what the deal was… I know the one in NYC is no joke and there’s always lines, but we had to peek in and check it out

the cupcakes are better than Joans on 3rd…. as good as Sprinkles and better in someways… but they have much more to offer with the cakes, pies, brownies, etc… overall it gets 4 thumbs up from me and nic.

so later that night, had a pescatarian meal at Mishima… ran into the Crooks fam there….
and then we decided to stay in and watch 2 horrible movies back to back…
“Remember Me” and “Cop Out” shaking my fucking head.
let’s not even go into reviews! just wow! both get a legit 1 out of 10 (why did I watch Remember Me? fuck outta here, why do you think? because I’m on team edward?)

SATURDAY aka Caturday lol jk

so we woke up, ate home made veggie breakfast and then got ready to hit the LBC to hit my homey Slep’s Baby Shower….. amazing, this is my guy for 15+ years…. but as we get older, you just keep in touch with some of your close friends only facebook or at family events and the last time I seen Slep was at AM’s funeral…. we all were pretty tight fam. WELL CONGRATS BRO! you’re gonna be a dad and damn! it’s a boy! smh at all the jokes going on at this thing… 1st off the party was at 1pm…. we left the crib at 12 and got there on time…. shit didn’t start til like 2:40! and btw, Slep in the general manger of Spearmint Rhino, so you already know hahhaahahahaha jesus!
1 table was all strippers…. 20+ deep lol & smh….
it was interesting, but I don’t give 2 shits really about what was going on in the background, our table was the fam fam… it’s cool that babies r us have an online registry because it saves time from having to stop there and wanting to buy 10 cases of flush-able baby wipes lol
anyways, wokcano started up down the street from my crib… shout out to my homey Teanna who used to work there back 5+ years ago…. this one in Long Beach is real real nice!

so after Homicide had to shake to las vegas to do his residency at JET…. I had to shake to do not a damn thing!
we went did some lightweight shopping at the beverly center… shit was boring
went back to the crib and peeped out this movie called “RELIGULOUS” by Bill Maher mocking religion and the so called science behind it…. and WOW this shit was interesting, it was really funny too…. some people, I mean MOST people are very very sensitive when it comes to religion…. I mean they get way the fuck bent out of shape if you test their religious beliefs… Bill Maher didn’t just test fools, but he went there repeatedly… but in a smart way.
We appreciated the film, but you gotta watch it for yourself…. I mean, I believe in god and I believe ALL and EVERY religion are under 1 god… anyways, it’ll open your eyes if you’re open minded enough. who wrote the bible anyways? WHO? don’t be dumb….
also, I got a book as a gift a while ago called “God is Not Great” and when I get a chance to take some ADD medicine, then I’ll focus on that, but I’m sure it’ll be crazy….

so we had a little bit of cabin fever and haven’t been out in LA to a bar in a few months easy…. so we decided to get out of the house and hit up Cecconi’s…. when I saw the Bugatti Veyron in front I already knew it was gonna be a thirst fest lol…. we had a vegetarian meal again….. chopped salad, mushroom risotto, buffalo mozzarella pizza and the shit was delicious! THANK YOU CHRIS KIM FOR THE VIP TREATMENT ALWAYS!
we had some Rose’…. it was nice and we caught laughs at the countless amount of cougars with fake boobs inside trying to catch a paycheck… oh well….

so after Cecconi’s… we headed over to Boudoir (the old coco deville) and wanted to meet up with my homegirl Allison and see how she’s dealing with her partner Lindsay being locked up…. anyways, the music was good, chilled out and threw down some patron and belve….. didn’t stay til the end of the night, but I was on 1, matter of fact, I was on 2…. so we had to head home

SUNDAY….

went to dupars for breakfast…. decided to finally have meat and got the chicken sausage and it was terrible…. BUT, the flap jacks there are the best on the planet (and if you go there, you’ll see they got their food channel episode on where they’re voted the best pancakes in the USA on repeat)

then we hit the Americana and Glendale Galleria so I could find some Tank Tops and get ready for a few trips and shit coming up….. spent literally 4 hours shopping to only come out with some basic shit, but a few pairs of dope shorts…. I’m off the baggy, long shorts (and I can’t believe it!)…. headed over to pasadena and copped some more shit from American Apparel and then we hit Noodle World for some dinner….. shit was great, headed over to Trader Joes to get some Trek Mix and then shot over to Homicide’s crib to watch TRUE BLOOD on his huge 3-D LED TV…. what a great episode….

I drove back to the trap and did some work and finally got my place in order….
gotta find a handy man to install my shelves in the auxiliary room and might add some more recessed lighting…. the bathroom is done! 1 more, well 1/2 a bathroom left!
anyone know a good handy man? it’s a very easy job, I have all the materials, not the tools….. and I need a good steam carpet cleaner! holler

BTW, ICEE FRESH IS CLOSED TODAY and TOMORROW!
we will be back open on wednesday and back to our normal times of 10am to 7pm, 7 days a week….

damn, I’ve been waking up by 8am every day even on weekends for the last 4 months now, this shit is crazy! prior to valentines days I couldn’t go to bed before 4:30am wtf? anyways, I get my grind on or my mind moving early these days and honestly, the last 4 months have been some of the best in the longest to my memory.

Champions….. YUP! all you laker haters, my LAKESHOW got their 16th world championship title! Gotta love a dynasty…. I’ve seen Magic get his 5 rings and lose a few championships and I’ve seen Kobe get his 5th now… crazy how 13 years ago, he was in LA for the 1st time and hanging out at my clubs and chillin with my boy Dougie D…. smh…. remember when he met Vanessa at his video shoot and everything and never ever did I think he’d be at this level… congrats to the lakers, I’ve been a fan since I was a kid! I remember watching them and wanting to be like Norm Nixon, Michael Cooper, Byron Scott and my favorite players were Kareem and Magic…. I used to lose my fucking mind when Kareem would dunk, it was so easy… when I found out the reason why Kareem wore goggles was to avoid being poked in the eye by other players because he’s so tall, I was hoping to be 7 feet tall too…. smh lol, I coulda been 6′ 2″ had I not started bad habits so young smh….
anyways, I watched the championship game in Glendale with my girl and her family and friends and they are all DIE HARD LAKER fans too, so it’s just awesome all the way around…. I was so damn anxious all day long and nervous and so uneasy….. and this was all before the game! during the game, I was gonna have a heart attack! at the end when we pulled it off, I literally cried like a little girl who lost her hello kitty pencil case…. smh
I HAVEN’T BEEN THAT HAPPY IN A LONG TIME, THAT SHIT MEANT THE WORLD TO ME! and I didn’t wish I was at staples to witness the game because I don’t like big crowds and shit (coachella, highly possible riot areas i.e. Lakers game finals game 7)

So after the game, we headed over to the W hotel in Hollywood and partied up to celebrate the win and celebrate my friend Bella’s bday….. We got some food at Delphines (thank you Christian again and always for the VIP treatment)
and after some food and more drinks, we went upstairs to the room to hang out before we hit up MY STUDIO(the club)

I had to wear my 22 year old vintage Lakers starter jacket (my brother got it at the forum when the lakers won their back to back championship in 1988)
and then was lucky to get the official lakers championship tee that night

so we didn’t head to MY STUDIO, instead we headed back home and man… my city was on fire! cars lined up down hollywood blvd, down sunset, everyone was out everywhere, just celebrating period! it felt great in the air and as I was driving back home, I saw the homey Jordan Farmar pulling into my boys Jerry and Javiars spot @ Industry nightclub….. I saw the lexus and was like damn… that lex is cleaannn! saw the PM plates and was like, wait a minute??? thats Farmar! honked my horn and said YEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! (nice job on the new wheels George)

earlier in the day I got a random, super random call from a loved one and it was good to catch up after 5 years…. remember y’all, most of the time, time heals all, if you still have ill fate after a few years, then damn.
I went to bed with a great feeling….. feeling like a champion!

I got a new client/friend who is an 8 time Olympic medalist and is asian! haha
I had the homey Apolo Ohno fly into town on friday to discuss jewels and start some work with him, but really…. I think it’s gonna much deeper than that with Apolo, such a small world and so many crazy coincidences and similar tastes and likes!

we’ll get more into that in a second…
just around lunch time an old friend and when I say old, I mean someone who I used to run around town with in 1985 and bomb rtd busses(now called metro) and bomb walls all around LA… my homey MAKE is one of the OG members of STN (second to none) and K2S(kill 2 succeed) and we lived pretty close to each other in koreatown…. we’d always meet up in random areas and get our graf on. this is a WHOLE OTHER story which I’ll get into later…. but yeah, I ran with the most infamous grafitti crew in all the west coast and to this day, I don’t think many or anyone in the west coast could see PRIME ONE on a straight grafitti tip. (RIP SINE ONE)….
ANYWAYS!!
I read a tweet from my old friend Galo aka MAKE ONE and hes’ checking out a new food spot in our hood and it’s called Kalbi Burger… now I’m wide open like wtf? I jam out of glendale and head up to meet him there to check it out….

I got the Kalbi Burger medium with some fries and a coke…. shit was delicious, but way the fuck off my diet…
I’m glad there’s an official burger spot to eat at in K-Town…. there hasn’t been one since the late 80’s when Cassells reigned supreme then… this isn’t the same as the kogi truck taco taste, but I’ve yet to try everything on the menu….

and man, it was good to get an hour conversation in with Galo about the old hood, some of the old homey’s who still write/paint/draw and some who passed…. I got out of the STN/K2S scene once it started to go a different route, but still stayed in contact with a random few others…. my big homey who’s like a cousin DEFER was in the krew and it’s crazy how we connected around 1982 or so…. and now with myspace/facebook, we can all keep in touch with each other; again fucking crazy! my homey Slick from dissizit is from K2S and this was AFTER I left the crew…. weird shit man!(btw, slick if you’re reading this, I wanted to have a convo about this yesterday when you called me, but I was with my family eating a fathers day meal, but def check out Pueblo Bonita Sunset Beach and def hit me up because the world is way too small!)

so I then leave K-Town to head to LAX to pick up the homey Apolo…. we had a good convo about Koreans and the misunderstanding with his relationship to my culture/heritage…. Apolo has grown up around Koreans all his life and his coaches and closest friends are Korean, so it’s sad how the media hyped up this Apolo(japanese) beef with the Koreans…. smh
I’ve only met a few Gold medal Olympians and none of them did I care to share a conversation with, if it was business, then cool… the only Olympic medalist I ever wanted to meet was Kurt Thomas (because of my fascination of the “Thomas Flair” a breakdance move I strived to perfect! yeh, cats didn’t know that either huh? I was a professional breakdance from 1982 to 1985….
so anyways, I get a very good vibe and good energy from Apolo and I gotta thank my bro George from Platinum for linking us up. when you look at Apolo you wouldn’t ever guess he likes jewelry huh? well he’s getting a lot of different things made with us….. I’ll keep most of it discreet just because, but I’ll try to post up some things on here too….
I also thought it was cool that Apolo came down to the Slauson and didn’t give a fuck…. I lol’d quite a few times….

weird little coincidences hit us too…. Salt Lake City is his residence and where my sister in law is from and where her family lived for a few decades…. who are also japanese…. Seattle is his hometown where my gf was born and raised and where a lot of my clientele recently has come from….. and dig this…. He was delivered by the same OB-GYN who delivered my twin nieces…. WHOA! lol

Apolo had a 14k Franco(non existent these days) that he copped like 8 years ago when Franco’s just came out and when gold was almost $1000 less an oz. wow. and he pulled out some other stuff that I haven’t seen for almost a decade jewelry wise and I was like… SHOW ME SOMETHING COOL!
so he pulled off his Olympic Ring and explained to me, that you can’t get this ring unless: 1. you made the olympic team or 2. are an olympic coach….. well Apolo had 3 of them and DAMN!

so we left ICEE FRESH and headed to the Grove to get some food… chopped it up some more and I could definitely tell this cat was set waaay apart from the rest of the athletes I’ve met, let alone most of the asians I’ve come into contact with…. we’re definitely gonna have to collab on something to push the bar further and break more stereotypes…. much love Apolo!

Saturday morning, I had to get up early for my girl’s good friend was having her son christened/baptized. After that, there was the reception and man…. there was tons of food and tons of drinks…. I wanna thank them for their hospitality.
while I was there, one of my girl’s friends was drinking a red corona and you know me, I’m always on some like, yo wtf is that? I gotta be up on any limited edition or new shit early! hahahhaa
smh…. it was Corona with Grenadine and I can’t even explain the taste… so I’ll stick to normal Coronas…

After we left there, we hit up my sister’s house and took my nieces to go see Toy Story 3D at the Arclight Sherman Oaks Galleria….. This was my 1st time taking them to see a movie ever, so I was hyped, they were very excited… I got them some ice cream, got them some pop corn and sour patch kids and then it was on! I didn’t see Toy Story2, but I did see 1 and it was great…. this was really good too, I tried to fall asleep on purpose to catch up on some Z’s, but I couldn’t so I watched the whole movie, lol…. it made me sad at the end for…. well I won’t spoil it(not that even 90% of my demographic of readers will even watch this or will you?)….

anyways, it was a good time…. after that, got to peep out this 2 page full feature in the new ELLE magazine on my sister and katie holmes new clothing line… big thang the yangs are doing

headed out to get some Curry and then all I remember is waking up to 800 thread count bed sheets

reminiscing about 3D, I gotta say this…. god damn I need to get my living room and master bedroom 3D set up like Homicide’s! the home 3D is wayyyy more different then I expected! the shit is very fresh! from the depth to the actual flying at you feeling? wow

so sunday was dad’s day, so I had sent out the proper respects to everyone….
headed out to k-town for an early dinner with my pops and brother and family and we got it in…. ran into some unexpected friends at the restaurant and then got my TRUE BLOOD in! YEEEEE! at the end though…. really snoop? really? smh

So the weekend started out with a new 1000% Spock be@rbrick but we’ll get into that later….
the usual shit, lot of orders and work to finish, new orders taken and I gotta thank god for being blessed….

it’s been a long time that I’ve been invited to a Major Korean related event with Korean press etc, so I was excited to be invited to the official ribbon cutting ceremony and opening of the new Ma Dang plaza opening where the new CGV cinemas is (nicest theater to open or exist in Koreatown and plays the latest Korean films) and also home to the only 5 star Korean restaurant in the USA for now…. (the restaurant BANN doesn’t open until next monday officially, now is just VIP tastings) the owner is the owner of Woo Lae Oak which I’m not too crazy of and never been, but she’s my mother’s high school alumni and they’ve been close friends for over 50 years (god damn! smh + lol) but anyways, this plaza/restaurant is open now where the OG Woo Lae Oak was on Western Ave. (between 6th and Wilshire) Woo Lae Oak was the 1st Korean bbq Restaurant in the USA that was somewhat fancy way before any hype and was originally open on Vermont (where yon soo san is now) in 1969 and moved to the western ave location in the late 70’s or very early 80’s…. they opened a beverly hills location later in the 90’s and then opened an NYC location and pretty much are trying to follow the path of a mr chows but for korean food obviously….

I’ve always favored Dong il Jang or Cho San when I wanted a true top notch korean bbq fix, but now this is probably the only place I will take friends or clients from now on since it’s fancier than Cho San.
So anyways, I got there with my family, paid my respects to the owner and talked to some press and some old friends I haven’t seen in a very long time(smh at my elders reminding me of how much of a hooligan I was growing up)
anyways, I didn’t stay for the movie(US premiere of “Blades of Blood”) and check out the cinemas fully, but I did see that the actual theater is crazy! I was expecting dduk and kim chee to be served in the concession stands, but I’ll leave the stereotypes for you all to see for yourselves.

I didn’t take many pics, but I will say the inside of the restaurant is much nicer than any other korean restaurant in LA or NYC and the VIP rooms are waaaaaaaay iller than any of the korean restaurants ever but I was too embarrassed to take a pic of the rooms. I can’t wait to make this my staple spot!

So on Saturday, I finished the 2nd season of TRUE BLOOD and damn shit was getting real good towards the end, but the bitch maryann needed to die! that bullshit voodoo and mojo’s and hex’s and black eyeball shit was getting on my nerves for real! can’t wait for the season premiere this sunday! because Entourage has fallen ALL THE WAY THE FUCK OFF! smh, there was barely 1 single decent episode for the entire last season! but my boy Matt Vener did hold down the music for last season crazy!

I finally got up out of the house and headed over to eat some greek food at this restaurant in the grove/farmers market and checked out some vintage cars they had at the annual gilmore classic car show they hold every year at the grove…. it was a beautiful day out too….. we ate some greek food and thought it’d only be right to go see “Get Him to the Greek” and honestly, I haven’t heard too much about the film besides people saying they wanted to see it…. and it didn’t have all that unnecessary hype like the Hangover did (which to me sucked big elephant dicks and was not funny at all) and after watching it, it was definitely watchable, not excellent, not terrible, but definitely better than the Hangover. it reminded me of when I was trying to climb the ladder inside my record label back in the day! After the movie did some lightweight shopping, drove around a little bit and then went home and watched “I Shouldn’t Be Alive Right Now” which drove me insane….

woke up Sunday morning at 7:45am to hike Runyon and then said nawww fuck that, I’mma lay my monkey ass down and plan a vacation…. yup, thats right, starting tonight, I’m on vacation until this Saturday and I’m leaving the country tonight!

so after planning the vacation, I wanted to do some shorts and light clothes shopping and my girl needed a few things too, we also needed some Lomography Film and then hit Jinky’s for a light brunch…. all I could think about is the beach and my #lakeshow

I wanted to wear my jersey and lakers kicks to keep the good luck thing running(everytime I’ve worn that fit, my Lakers have always won) and instead, I threw on a nice shirt and pants because my girl’s mom was cooking some Filipino food for us for dinner and WE FUCKING LOST! I mean, we didn’t play horrible, the Celtics didn’t play that great, Jesus aka Ray Allen was out of his gourd though! He was on fire more than any of the rainbow boys and even his own team mate Rondo(who loves to wear lipstick and lace and eye liner… smh)
BUT THE OFFICIATING WAS AWFUL, the refs won’t the guys just play ball. we got calls on our end that were terrible, I can’t believe David Stern and this bullshit… so anyways, looks like I’ll be watching games 3 and 4 out of the country.

What random and boring weekend, but it was just what I needed….
Friday
me and my girl hit up our usual 2x a week hike at Runyon Canyon…. ate a healthy breakfast then got my day started and didn’t have to vomit from all the exercise…. YEEEEAAAYUHHHHH!

later in the day, I got to link with a homey of mine who I met off Niketalk and benballer.com back in the day who’s also down with the G.O.O.D. folks (ye, ibn, don c) and we haven’t talked in a long ass time! he copped a lot of OG 1 of 1 methamphibians back in the day and my guy Ian always dressed fresh, kept it consistent with the grown man steez and always pushed something less obvious… lol. He was in a new body Arnage this time smh lol…
We sat down at the Polo Lounge and I didn’t know what to expect, but he tried on a bunch of different things I brought and loved the quality, but decided to keep it G and went with a tight prong set diamond stud chain…

As we were having our lunch, it was pretty open inside which was nice, but I heard some girl screaming loud talking like she was me but prettier(not so much anymore smh) and that girl was Kimora Lee…. I remember when she was a seat filler for award shows and then when her and Russell hooked up and I was hoping she didn’t see me because she is 1 of very few people who could out talk me smh…. I’ll end this part of the story right here, because fucking just because haha.

Anyways, I shake out of the meeting late and decide not to head back to “IF”, but instead I decide to head home and watch as many episodes of True Blood as I can possibly watch…. I can’t believe I’m so late on this shit! I once channel surfed and thought this show was based during the 1800’s because of a scene I saw and some of the ads looked really gothic and old, but DAMN! they do bad on this show and get their major fuck on! other than that, the story is really good and I’m NOT into vampire shit…. I made some Tofurkey sandwiches for dinner which is my new addiction…. vegans/vegetarians have come a very very long way since garden burgers, etc… this really tastes like meat, so I’m substituting this for turkey or whatever meat I was eating in sandwiches indefinitely.

Saturday….
woke up to a tofurkey egg white sammich and some granola and yogurt (I’m really trying to lose 8lbs) and because I went to bed so early… I woke up at 8am WTF? man… for those who don’t know, I’ve been waking up around 7am to 8am for the last 3 months and getting a lot of shit done…. but never on the weekend am I up and about at 8am… I was kinda confused… but my girl wakes up this early every day, so she’s used to it. We head to go say Hi to moms in ktown…. grab some treats then head down to IF…. I check my mail and see my boy Ryan Loco has given me the illest gift someone could give me in the year 2009 (no joke)

So we head over to the Grove to check out Shrek and I’m like eh, looks good, I’m kinda hyped, but whatever, I’m sort of over 3-D as it makes me dizzy sometimes… BUT after watching Shrek Forever, the final chapter, it was one of the best movies I’ve prolly seen this year, no joke… during the movie I’m texting back and forth to a friend negotiating some deals on Kaws 4 foot companions…. shit ain’t no childs play like the 1000% be@rbrick’s…. these shits hit $10,000 + per companion….. smh… so I got 1, but I want all 6, so I bought a few and added to my collection…. and I’ll be picking them up later this evening with the help of my homey Alex because Homicide is being a hater and won’t let me use his truck haha.

Head back to the crib and decide to stay indoors because I’m too disgusted with myself at this point to be outside in public after spending that kind of paper on toys(could have bought that Nissan Cube fully loaded and some rims!)…. but I gotta tell myself the shit IS art and these are true art sculptures and are worth a lot of money and Kaws is done making anymore 4 foot companions for Medicom corp.

So we head back home and watch some True Blood and a movie I tivo’d called My Sister’s Keeper which is based on a true story about a family who has a daughter who has leukemia and decides to have another child specifically as a donor child to prolong or save the life of their daughter with cancer…. the donor child daughter gets keen to this and sues her family for medical emancipation and all kinds of shit breaks loose in the movie…. shit was emotional and I was like damn! 2 good movies in 1 day? lol

while I’m feeling like a complete dickhead for spending a lot of money earlier in the day…. My boy Jordan texts me and tells me about his recent dickfuck purchase…. He bought a prop from one of the original Batman movies…. he bought a Penguin from the Batman movie with Danny DeVito in it. lol

after I saw this pic via MMS, I felt a lot better about my purchase. lol….. Jordan you crazy fuck!

As I’m about to lay down and sleep…. I get a frantic call from my friends from Do More Media…. Dustin and Cody…. I don’t know if their girls read my blog, but all I can say is I saved the day! thanks for the Veuve rose’ guys!

Sunday
wake up early again, but got in 8 hours of un-interrupted sleep…. I see my boy Alchemist is on ustream from his airplane seat, so I decided to talk some shit….. he’s like YANGGG! YOU 1/2 JEWISH PIECE OF SHIT lol…. I retort and that’s how I speak to all my loved ones…
then me and my girl head over for some family time at my Mom’s shop….

As I have a flashback to my childhood when I used to be forced to go to Church every single sunday (fyi I hated church) I have a conversation with one of my old korean chingoo’s from k-town and he tells me a fucked up story…. typical Korean religious bullshit that could only happen to a religious korean family smh…. So his parents are getting a divorce because his mom over the last year has been giving this con man at their church (I believe he is the pastor too smh) who promised his mom that Jesus would come to their house and change their lives! My boy’s mom gave the guy almost 2 million dollars of their family’s life savings! 2 MILLION DOLLAR$$$$!!!!! Once his dad found out, he went bezerk and big time spazzed out! She said Jesus is really coming! what is wrong with you! So the dad said “If Jesus comes to our house on May 20th, I’ll forgive you” …. well Jesus never showed up smh…. I asked my boy this….. “real talk though, BUT WHAT IS JESUS REALLY CAME?” lol

anyways, we spend time with my entire family and I missed out on my boy Kai’s new store opening at Kingsbury on 3rd street…. “SHOP LIKE KINGS” sorry fam, I will definitely stop by today or tomorrow.

headed over to Yogurt Land to get right and end my night on a brighter note…. then headed back to the trap to clean up…. got restless and didn’t go to bed til 3:15am which is the latest I’ve been up in a few months…. but was up bright and early this morning at 8am!
