So I think any tues following a long holiday weekend makes me feel like damn, today is monday? wait, naw it’s a short week? regardless, it screws up my body clock ONLY because everyone else trips on it so much.

the most important thing is this: SUMMER NEVER CAME TO L.A.! IT’S 67 DEGREES OUTSIDE AND WILL BE COLD ALL WEEK LONG! I hate that Fall is coming, I used to look forward to it when I was a kid for the following reasons: School started so that meant flossing new gear, new girls and FOOTBALL SEASON….. now? not so much… but it’s nice to have a wonderful woman in my life

so I really did nothing but get rid of more shit and I’m down to my land strand of giveaways and extra unnecessary things from my place…. I’m thinking of getting a new turbo porsche and a prius instead of just having my 7 (HMMMM?)

friday night, I went to Best Buy and got there at 8:30 and stayed until they kicked me out…..
checked out 65″ LED tv’s and that’s what I’m getting….
realized that I don’t want to get another bluray player, so I’m going with a new PS3 with wifi so I can use the playstation store which I’m addicted to. damn I know I’m late and I know about a year ago I used to fuck with it because my homey Jordan used it so much, but I gotta do it…. also with updates the PS3 can be used as a 3D dvd player too! so I win…. speaking of the PS3 there is a jailbreak now? word? I care “0″ when they let me play xbox games and other shit then I MIGHT be excited, but I’m not much of a gamer these days…. which brings me to selling my 2 brand new in the box never opened limited edition XBOX 360 elite consoles with everything…. 1 is a super limited #’d GTA IV edition and the other is the Resident Evil all RED xbox… inquire via comment! or to info@ifandco.com

so saturday, same shit, nothing but trying to find the perfect rug for my living room…. going over jewelry designs, finishing Mayor’s invisible set mini cross…. finishing Apolo’s new olympic ring dog tags, finishing some rings and slanging more gucci’s!

Sat night, me and nic went to finally go see “Takers” and the movie was good. Def action packed from beginning to end, I feel like Chris Brown was a little tad bit too goofy for the role, but I guess it was borderline since he was supposed to the younger brother? I dunno…. Adris’s accent was NOT believable. was also unnecessary….. T.I. was a little too cocky and it didn’t work all the time. But everyone else was on point. Crazy to see my homey Gabriel Casseus’s name roll at the end as the Writer for this! damnnnn!!!! good shit Gabe!

Sunday, checked on pops condition and finally found the day bed I want from West Elm….

get inside with my backstage credentials and I get the feeling of when koreans used to try to put on shows with whoever or whatever was popular back in the day music or dancing wise….. I’ve never been to Kollaboration, but unless they recognize (I went to HS with the founder smh….) I’ll never show up to one.
but I missed last years ISA and FM offered to bring me out to SF, but I had so much drama last year, I couldn’t make it. BUT I’M GLAD I MADE IT THIS YEAR BECAUSE EVERYONE SAID IT WAS THE BIGGEST ISA SHOW TO DATE AND THE BEST ONE YET!

I see IZ as soon as I get to the backstage area…. comedian Danny Cho…. some dancers… k-pop sensation Jay Park and others…. I’m not trippin on nobody and they ain’t checkin for me, so it’s all good…. I just hang out in FM’s dressing room with my girl and FM

before I even got there… James aka Proh sent me this picture at around noon

IZ always cracks me up, I got to talk to JSpliff and Kev a little bit…. Proh was pretty much co-MCing the show with others…. to be honest, other than Qwest Crew, i’d never ever heard of the other people on the bill.

you already know if there’s an event with FM and I’m jumping on stage? I need to have ice or ice cold ROSE’….

but since the show sponsors were disney and JC Penny and the crowd was PG-13 to 18….. we agreed they might trip if I come up on stage with some liquor… I ain’t tryin to mess up their paper either… so we kept that bitch on ice…

smh, nic woke up because I was snoring so loud so she videotaped it… when she finally woke me up, I could hear myself snoring…. I was so fucking tired from everything!

but I went back to sleep and slept WELL!

woke up monday and it was nice and quiet…..
got some food with Nic’s Fam from the bay and ordered a movie on demand…

meanwhile, my Kaws 4 foot companions are spoiled…. along with my alarm system, they hold down the fort, so I hooked up 1 of them with an official Jesus Piece

man, I’m getting so close to having my crib to a decent level that I’m amped!

so yesterday was 1 of the longest days in a long time!
woke up at 5am to cut my wig and get decent for my cameo in the new Far East Movement video.
I check my phone and check twitter to see Homicide’s dumb ass is still tweeting like 20 minutes prior! I’m like fool didn’t we get an early dinner so you can rest? (fyi, Homicide’s had a sleeping disorder for as long as I’ve known him. doesn’t matter if he’s played 2 shows that night, he just won’t sleep for longer than 4 hours EVER)

so I say fuck it, I get fresh….
meanwhile, I send over directions to Homicide because our cameo/scene is together (thanks KevNish and FM) and he’s like man…. I’m sleepy! NO SHIT? YOU GOT ABOUT 1 HOUR AND 15 MIN SLEEP! and what makes it worse is that, I had to leave the set by 9:30am IMMEDIATELY to run and grab my twin nieces and take them to Universal Studios which was already inked in their schedule over a month ago…. then run back and head over to Capital City for the world premiere of my show “The Clinic” smh….

so I get rollin down 6th street and not that I don’t wake up early because I do… but damn it’s 6:30am and I’m passing through my old hood! reminiscing over all kinds of shit…. pass by the Fantasy Factory and then release the set/loft is the same place we shot the David Banner/Lil’ Wayne video “shorty say”…..

As I walk over to the set, I check my twitter and see this…..

my fellow fam/high school alumnus got jokes huh? ha!

I get into makeup to cover up a pimple in my forehead and I see the Stereotypes in the house! go downstairs and get myself a breakfast burrito and some tums to try to avoid the BG’s early…. and then Homicide shows up and where does he go?
straight to the food and OJ (like I didn’t go there first too? well I didn’t hahaaaa)

the set…. well 1 of them, but homebase…

awww YEAH! (90% of the peeps out there saying that because of AM, don’t know that AM got it from Homicide)

you see the tapatio, it’s time to watch out!

so me and Homicide and Russ and DJ Quik head over to the street scene where me and Homicide got our scene at….. was in and out in about 1 hour, so it worked out beautifully…. if you are an artist and have been in a video before, you know it’s 80% waiting around all day!

I won’t talk about our scene because I want you to see it and I don’t want to spoil the theme for FM just in case they are keeping this video treatment/idea a secret (because they are secret agents! #ISA)

during one of our waiting periods…. a homeless guy keeps it extra real sleeping on the streets of LA

so I shoot off to woodland hills in the most trife LA traffic to get my nieces and my girl…..
we get to Universal Studios at 10am and it’s not very crowded. THANK GOD!
we immediately go into Shrek and then some other theme rides… then get on the TRAM….
it’s been maybe 12 years or so since I’ve been on this TRAM and I remember it totally different….
this time they got KING KONG 3-D which was the best part of the TRAM and the whole park (next to the simpsons ride) and it was just awesome, but waayyyy too short.
went to almost every ride except jurassic park since my nieces are only 8, I’m not gonna force them onto anything scary….. got their portraits drawn in a cartoon caricature and we ate like pigs all day #duh

finally left the park to get them back into the worse 101 fwy LA Traffic and by the time I got to my sisters house, I feel asleep and they love that EVERY TIME I GO TO THEIR HOUSE, I FALL ASLEEP! haha
I was beyond dead, batteries were drained and all that…. Nic passed out too and she woke up at 6:30am

I woke up mad late and missed my premiere party! smh….

back to the small stuff we’ve been making.
everyone’s been wanting and ordering smaller pieces, classy clean small crosses and such, so here’s some of them (nothing shown is over 2″ including the bails!)




fyi, the black cross is double sided and when you flip it over it is the mirror image of what you see above, so you get 2 crosses for the price of 1.5 lol….. and of course they can be made with any color gold or any color diamond scheme you want!

P.S. yesterday: pops surgery wasn’t excellent but they got as much of the tumor out as possible, it was a battle for sure….. he’ll be out asleep and in ICU for the next week. He needs rest and then they can start chemo. #pray

and why not? the weather was beautiful all weekend and I needed to rest….
was headed out to San Diego for the weekend to see Bill Maher at the Humphreys by the Bay theater… but the seats I got weren’t too great, so I’m gonna see his other show and we just both wanted to stay in and I wanted to work on upgrades on my house….

so I woke up and headed over to 1 of my favorite eat & shopping spots; Barney’s New York…. the top floor, Barney’s Green Grass is great for brunch!

Barney’s is 1 of the only places on earth where no matter what I can find something to wear and buy…. so that = DANGEROUS!

ran around town looking at furniture…. a old high school alumni of mine Chris owns a store called Blueprint by my house, so I checked out a few things…. but wasn’t certain, hit up CB2 and West Elm and Haus and some other spots that were out of my budget (small tiny chairs for $6,000 = not baller, but sultan/prince money)…. so as I’m walking out of CB2 to walk into Trader Joe’s…. this lanky tall dude walks next to me and scares the shit out of me, I thought he wanted a hand out or some money…. but it was the little homey Drama(from Fantasy Factory) and I chopped it up with him for a sec before we shook to the Grove.

Me and nic headed to see the Switch at the Grove….. had to get our iced Vanilla Latte’ and the movie was pretty good….. can’t believe it didn’t do better at the box office…. I’ve never been a fan of Jennifer Anniston, but I’ve been a fan of Jason Bateman since I was 8 years old…. I’m glad he made a crazy comeback.

headed back to the trap and met up with Homicide….. we took Homicide to eat at Vegan Glory…. Homicide is one of my very few friends who has a crazy open mind…. most people wouldn’t even think to try eating Vegan, but he’s been a fan of healthy food for a while now…. DON’T GET IT FUCKED UP THOUGH, WE BOTH EAT LIKE SHIT AND HAVE ATE LIKE SHIT FOREVER! I mean, we could eat pizza’s the size of wagon wheels, eat McDonalds and so on and so forth…. after 1 single bite of the 1st dish, Craig was a fan like a famished child tasting a t-bone steak.
we ordered a lot of dishes and he was like this is crazy! Vegan Glory is really that good…. Real Foods Daily is very good too and It’s been around longer, but Vegan Glory is just better.

After that, he showed me pics of his new 4 foot kaws companion and we just chopped it up at the crib for a while… then me and nic watched the Outsiders since she’d never seen it before. (classic fucking movie)

SATURDAY

Saturday morning, I wanted to still head out of town lightweight, but some place warm…. then after browsing online it just got too late to make a spontaneous proper move…. I just got bad news that my pops had a really bad 24 hours, so bad that they have to postpone his surgery which was supposed to happen today or tomorrow. sucks…. so I went to go visit him….

after that, my girl made breakfast and then we headed to the brand new Santa Monica Place outdoor mall….. I remember hitting this place when I was 8 years old and loved this spot! well after a while, this place started to fall the fuck off and 4 years ago I remember it starting to look a abandoned spot in Cabo…. only like 30% of the stores were open and it was depressing to look at… well now this shit is really REALLY nice! from Ted Baker to Louis Vuitton to a Joe’s Jeans and many other stores…. a nice bloomingdales and off the hook food court makes this the spot to hit on the westside or the beach side. On the top floor where the food court is, are also 3 or 4 nice restaurants, so we decided to try out the Mexican restaurant, La Sandia and I’m picky about mexican food…. I mean, El Cholo in Koreatown (the OG spot, Jack Nicholson’s fave) is one of the best nicer mexican restaurants, another spot on the Boyle Heights/Downtown LA/East Los border I forget is really nice and then there’s Casa Vega and Lare’s which are both outstanding and undeniable…..

well Javiars in the OC pretty much blows a lot of these LA spots away because of their decor and the view they have (crystal cove, not irvine smh) and their food and bar is off the chain… but this new spot La Sandia had great food! their bar shit on Javiars and my only complaint was they served black beans and not re-fried…. but it was real good…

before I stop at SURU, I stop at Marc Jacobs to pick up a few pairs of my favorite boxers and a small wallet for me and for nic and now I don’t need to use my rubber band wallet I was using (I had to retire all my louis vuitton coin purse wallets that have the chain that attach to the belt loops because THEY ARE SO FUCKING PLAYED OUT NOW! SMH @ clowns who wear them outside their pockets)

Suru as I’ve mentioned many times on this blog before is a boutique store on Melrose that carries everything from fresh tees and clothes to unique watches and art and books and just great gifts, but most importantly….THEY HAVE THE MOST OFFICIAL LEGIT MEDICOM BE@RBRICK ACCOUNT IN THE WEST COAST! yuppppp….. I got most of my 1000%’s there and this time I got mines early!

this time it’s the “MY FIRST BE@RBRICK BABY” series but in the Raiders Black and Silver!

and my wall updated (I need to grab the 3 from my store and 1 from elsewhere)

so then I get on the horn with my boy Rob Kardashian and he tells me that him and his step dad are rollin to Playhouse for a short bit and I say…. naw I’m good…. I’m gonna chill at the trap and relax….

me and my girl hit up Fresh & Easy and get some groceries and head to the crib and she made dinner…. we watched a bunch of TV again and I passed out at like midnight like a 9th grader….

so I check on pops condition and he’s got a blood infection and isn’t doing so well….but he’s not in ICU, but also shouldn’t have too much excitement or people around as I don’t want to irritate him or my moms and so I make sure he knows my energy is there with him….

I head out to continue my furniture shopping around town and narrow it down to a few spots….

I finally found my chandelier and my dining table

So I’m getting rid of my circular glass and iron dining table with 4 chairs. Nice but doesn’t match my place anymore…. Goodwill or slang it? If anyone’s interested and local… I’ll let it go for cheap! I paid over $1,000 bucks for it and just want it gone along with a bunch of other shit that I need to put on ebay…

I can’t wait to install my new shades and new wooden mini blinds…. and then the new black granite counter tops… paint some accents and I’m chillin for a lil bit til I cop a new spot

I get a call from my lil homey Apolo who acts like a big homey at times and I forgot he was in town…. we chop it up and I tell him to come meet us up at the Century City mall to see Piranha 3-D, but he’s too smart and say’s let’s do dinner later instead…..

now rottentomatoes for the most part has been pretty damn good to me and I thought this movie would be dumb, but it got a 81% rating on there and thats high as fuck! so I forced my girl to go watch it with me…..
the movie rolls, it’s going as I expected…. then I hear my boys Far East Movement come up on the big screen! and i’m like awww shit!!! first on Get Him to the Greek and then this??? and then they play a 2nd FM song literally back to back so I’m hyped….. after that I hear another one of my little homey’s tracks, Steve Aoki getting love in the movie and there’s a hot chick in the movie who acts like a girls gone wild bust down….
AND THEN…. WORST MOVIE I’VE SEEN IN MY LIFE…. it’s up in the top 10 worsts for sure.
during the movie we saw 4 different sets of people get up and leave and I haven’t witnessed that before except for myself…. I mean, I walked out of date night and I coulda stayed because as awful as date night was, this shit was 10000x worse…

this was the only highlight of going to see Piranha…. I kept my 3-D glasses because my other pair are not as clean anymore :/

so we head back home and I fall asleep for 45 minutes and forget that I have to pick up Apolo lolololol

I head over to pick him up 1st so Nic can get ready….
he doesn’t want korean bbq or korean food… but wants to try the Vegan spot

this is the 10th time we’ve hit Vegan Glory this month easy!
and again as soon as Apolo hit the food, he acted just like I did…. couldn’t believe that it wasn’t meat!
not even the broth, he thought it had to have some chicken parts… but my girl can’t eat any of that….

we ordered a GANG OF FOOD! and Apolo ate it up like he was one of the Klumps

we chopped it up about Apolo’s book coming out soon and where he’s gonna move to here in LA and all that good shit….

we headed to my spot and Apolo got to see my be@rbrick and 4 foot collection and was stunned on how stupid I am.

and since Apolo eats spinach and works out 21 hours a week, he helped me move my 108lb 4 foot companion off my audio rack stand to the floor

so I gotta head out and do some work…
we just finished these ill ass Cartier Santos 100’s for a client and I got a LE breitliing PVD super avenger(actually called the Skyland Avenger) that we murdered out in black diamonds and even iced out the clasp….

got some more orders for smaller type pendants and need to get started on a black on black g-shock for my brother Felix the Housecat!

got up friday to my baby leaving to the bay to visit her grandma and maddd family she got up there and to Homicide fiending to get out of his crib and have an excuse to drive his new car anywhere. smh
so we headed up to CCC aka California Chicken Cafe(never fails, classic LA healthy delicious food)….
ever since the 1st time I tried this shit in 1993 I was sold!
so we sit down and the homiez FM walk in! hahahhahaa
right at the moment me and Craig were talking about our OG homey Wil I Am starting a new real record label and wanting to sign homicide to the label….. Wil always texts or hits up me or Homicide from a random foreign country to just bag and roast smh lol…

with Wil, now Homicide can be the Black David Guetta! haha, real spit though!
so FM walks in and Craig is like, we can fuck around and do a record with them…. I’m glad he got to finally met Far East Movement…. it’s always all love, I can’t wait for the ISA show that’s sold out… I’mma have to jump up and get my hipster smurf shuffle on!

As we were walking out of CCC, I ran into an old OG buddy Dan Eisenstein(was 1/3 founder and owner of Ballistyx) which is crazy because I just was talking to my boy Nic Adler and we were just speaking on Wil who got his start rapping at Ballistyx…. anyways

so I shake outta there to swing by Platinum and it’s been a long time…. ain’t nothing changed but the exotics up there…. they got a bad ass Panamera Turbo with a Mansory kit they’re working on and it’s a problem! I gotta figure out if I’m gonna keep my car so I can do a few more things to it, or just get rid of it and get a ford flex on 24″s smh

After that, I swing by IF for a minute to finish up my shit and get it over to the laser spot….

then I swing by Rodeo Drive to get a new belt at Gucci, but noting was shaking there or at Fendi or at LV, belts wise….
since I ran into all these OG’s and I was in Bev Hills… I shook over to my boy Damon Elliotts crib to see what’s cooking in his studio…. we chopped it up real quick and caught up on things…

so I shook back to the crib to get on a ustream chat… thanks to everyone who got on…
then I had 2 homiez come through to cop some kicks and then we shook over to get some food in K-Town

not just any food…. that bomb ass Korean fried chicken!!!
I don’t get to eat stuff like this all the time because my girl is pretty much vegetarian/vegan…. but damn had to show dustin and cody how great this shit was!

after that, we shook over to the grove to see Middle Men(Jordan hyped this shit up too much) and before that, we headed over to the Farm to get the best vanilla latte’ on the earth!

the Movie was good, nothing major or different, but entertaining indeed….

shook back to the trap and passed out!

got up early and started organizing shit in my crib and went after my 1 of 4 CD albums that needed to be uploaded to my new Macbook Pro…. after about fucking with 30 or so CD’s I said I gotta pay someone to do this shit!
but ran across some interesting shit….

yup… HITTMAN! the only artist who had more appearances on the Dr. Dre 2001 album than anyone else and the only artist who had a solo song on 2001….. he also wrote 80% of the CD! I came across an old studio session of a freestyle and other shit we did together about 9 years ago!

took my monkey ass to work and that’s exactly what it was…. WORK WORK WORK!!!
had a lot of shit to finish, the laser was done and delivered and I wanted to get a pic of this new SB piece to our client in SF so I called him up to speak over some final choices for necklaces…..

his piece came out amazing!
it started out with my little tiny “g” typewriter font piece that we made for a homey and next thing you know I got 4 orders off top! people are starting to rock smaller pieces and something clean, but the work put into these 1″ to 1.5″ pieces are so sharp and the diamonds are shitting!
so this cat Ryan emailed us a logo and from there it was on!
(*edit that logo is actually from a group out of the bay called “BORED STIFF” and it’s a BS not SB)

this shit came out toooo clean!
it’s really heavy too! solid and it’s about the size of a 50 cent piece (maybe just a little bit bigger)
It came out better than I thought and I expected only excellence!

so…… I made a BB piece for Magic and for my everyday stee


smh…. I’ve had that logo for 5 years and I never did shit with it…. gonna make a new era fitted and some more shit soon…. I love that Jimmy cut this logo inside 45 minutes while most cnc machines take a week to cut something! smh…. we finished this BB piece with mad other shit to do in about 3 days… I had the top B raised up 1mm higher than the 2nd B to give it more detail…..

shit goes hardy hard…. I guess not only is this clean and classy and under stated, but it’s some what affordable to do in 14k and nice VS diamonds

so I shook the store for a second to go see my pops right quick and eat dinner with him….
as I’m strolling down wilshire blvd. at like 25mph a punk ass pig pulls me over…. I saw him from far away too and kept it pushing….. once he made the turn, I knew he was coming for me and there were 2 cars behind me…. smh
so this whole ordeal took about 40 minutes…. his reason, no front license plate… BUT ONLY SAID THAT ONCE HIS WATCH COMMANDER SAID “LET THE MAN GO, DON’T SAY ANYTHING ELSE AND LET HIM PROCEED!”
so fucking gay…..
he asks me the basic questions…. are you the registered owner of this vehicle? have you ever been to jail? what do you do for a living?
questions I really don’t answer because they’re dumb…. but every time they ask are there any weapons or drugs in the car? I have to answer yes due to my permit to carry, I have to declare that off top…. so once I say yes I have a firearm on my person and one in the trunk, they shit themselves and ask me to get out of the car before I can show them my paper work…..

obviously once numbers are ran, I’m all good….. I have zero points on my record…. I’m driving a fully legit car(I mean I understand in the lambo and loud cars that look like dick cars…. but my 7?) so I’m pissed they waste my time…. I tell him I’m headed to the hospital down the street and when I parked my car, I saw the cop pass by me because everyone in life lies to the police, but most of the time I don’t have shit to hide, so I just answer when I’m asked, but only talk when asked a question, unless it’s regarding my CCW….

so I go and see pops, he’s pretty much done with dinner… I’m fucking pissed
He asks me some crazy shit that I thought was a 10000% NO NO…. he says can you go downstairs and get me a hagaan daaz ice cream bar? no nuts, just vanilla…. so I ask the RN and she says as long as I peel off the chocolate… so I go down and get him one and take off the chocolate and then he takes 3 bites and doesn’t want anymore….
they shaved his head I guess to prepare him for Chemo…. but they haven’t even operated yet. I don’t know and I didn’t ask because nobody was there…. he also seemed to be in a bad mood….

he looks strong and healthy, but again, he was in a bad mood and angry at something, but didn’t want to talk….
he then falls asleep and I took off to go meet up with my cousin Jeff and our 2 workers at the Arclight….
we meet up at 8:25pm to see Expendables at 8:30 showing inside the Cineramadome theater….
now, let me start by saying this… even my shitty movie CAKE would be sold out on a Saturday night there, so usually getting there even 30 minutes prior and you’re sitting either in the far back or the neck break front row…

well, not even 50% of the theater was sold out when we walked in…. smh
the movie wasn’t horrible, but obviously wasn’t great….
Arnold Schwartzenegger’s cameo and Terry Crews was the best part of the movie….
pretty much anything with Terry Crews in it and I’m game lol

so After we got some food and I headed over to BH to handle a quick errand when I found out that my lil homey Cody got the super duper hook up on something

got a text from Jordan telling me that he got pulled over by the police for the same shit I got pulled over for! smh

woke up late as hell…. like 10am and didn’t get my monkey ass out of the house until around 3pm because I was busy catching up on emails… shopping online for more be@rs and organizing my itunes again….

finally met up with my lil homiez down in K-Town for some official kal kook soo….
discussed a few ideas….

then I shook over to get the girl with the dragon tattoo at Blockbuster…
ran into my friend Rachel Sterling and both found out we’re both gonna be at Magic

got over to the crib to watch the movie with my lil homiez and started watching something else….
and then……

it’s over once this shit comes out….

pretty much after a few cups of this and some good food…. I went into purple coma (along with the open faced turkey sammich from DuPars)

that’s the weekend wrap up….

gotta catch a flight to Vegas later tonight for magic….

so the homey Proh from Far East Movement hooked me and my girl up with tickets to see La Roux last weekend in downtown LA…. FM is on the same label as La Roux, so he hooked it up VIP styles…
the show was dope, short and sweet but ole girl got the hipster shuffle down crazy! it was also the 1st time I’ve seen an artist bring a cup of tea onto stage and drink it in the middle of a show smh lol…

had a photoshoot yesterday in the outskirts of koreatown… at MacArthur Park; yes the home of notorious gang MS13 and my running grounds as a child/teen…. I haven’t physically been in that park for almost 23 years or so.
I miss the days of the Mean Streaks, uni and ultra wides…. RTD, real hip hop and of course the Radio Tron which was right across the street!


this is such a dope monument of what really this area means to a lot of people…. shit it’s been a long time since 1982 when they shot Breakin’ here and stuff.

After bumping Rakaa’s Crown of Thorns track “Mean Streak” where he shouts me out with all the OG old school hip hop shit, It put me in a rude mood…. reminiscing of the good old golden days (RIP SINE ONE, RIP ROB ONE, RIP GEO)

after the photoshoot was done…. had the photog from Norway shoot a quick pic with his fancy camera

so anyways…. my girls family had family come into town too, so we hit some sight seeing shit; hit the americana and Venice Beach…. It’s been a while since I walked down Venice Beach… Venice Beach has meant so many different things to me, from body builders to hard core street basketball (white men can’t jump) to pit bulls and of course my days of working with NIKE and the nike blue house (thanks Bee, fuck the swoosh though)

right before we all linked up…
I stopped by my old barber who I haven’t seen in over 25 years in koreatown

so we strolled down the boardwalk for a lil bit (pics are on my personal facebook, but here’s a few joints)


man…. when I was a freshman in high school, me and my cousin went to see an early screening of Child’s Play and shit was no joke and scared the hell out of us…. Actually Nic’s cousin is lightweight traumatized from Chucky and when I called homey over, she got shook…. and I felt bad, but she later took a pic with him too lol

I was supposed to go to the OC Fair today, but my fat ass has gained a nice belly, so I need to chill the fuck out and the last thing I need to do is see Deep Fried Twinkies and Oreos and a long list of other shit I can’t eat.

so we had a sit down last night at this korean bbq spot in koreatown called Star BBQ and it was on some Ajushi…. Gangpeh styles shit! was so good to spend 3 hours catching up… hearing all the great stories and sharing old music stories…. these cats are in a great place right now and if I have anything to do with helping them in any even small way again, it would be an honor as I back FM to the motherfucking fullest! these cats got features on their new Interscope Records debut album with MAJOR MAJOR PLAYERS! I won’t say anything because I don’t know if I can yet…. but cats who’ve sold over 10 million records easy each…. I’m so fucking proud I get emotional to see my dudes do their thing! Not to take away from my man IZ who’s making moves now with this 454 entertainment deal….
anyways, we shot the shit, we do this every so often, but my boys are big time now lol…. they just got off tour with Lady Gaga and opened up for her on every show on this past tour of hers…. the only difference on this ktown meet up was none of us drank! NO SOJU, NO OB, NO HITE! no alcohol! we just ate some good as kogi and ban chan and chopped it up and caught up on everything we could.
