I had to check out the Pheed house and really sit down with the man who taught me how to ball. the guy who no joke opened my eyes to a whole different world… this guy Tony? fuck… first round draft pick in the NFL, won the BCS NCAA championship with Notre Dame…. engaged to Jada Pinkett when it meant something, dated Halle Berry, so many other bad ones… always had ridiculous fly whips and also a multi platinum producer…

wednesday night was VMA pre party night and my boys over at Crooks and Drake and OVO were throwing a party at Lure, too bad I couldn’t go and honestly, I didn’t want to. I just wasn’t feeling it…. there was also an event at Bagatelle for GOOD music and Moet Chandon which I fuck with just as heavy and was much more mellow… #roselounge and they were pouring that nectar imperial rose’ all night! it was also a dinner… but I couldn’t get myself to leave the house and chill with my 2 week old son. now saturday was the release of the MATT KEMP x Diamond Supply x Hall of Fame collab and I have never seen a line that long on the block in the history of the block I think. damn! that shit went around rosewood to Hayworth!!!!

after that, me and Nic headed over to the Vista Vintage Theatre and I’m sad to say as an angeleno that I can’t believe being such a movie buff and living in this city all my life that I never checked it out… smh
well they did a huge remodel not too long ago and this theater is legendary for sure… they have done major premieres here and all that…. but I had speculations and so we said, lets check it out. fuck it… it’s not far from our house. so we did and damn we were both surprised!
tickets for anything before 6pm are $6.50!!!! and normal tickets are $10! I’m used to paying like $17 to $20 a ticket and dang! now they might not have assigned seating, but the seating is fucking amazing!!!! honest to god, you could be 7′ 6″ tall and no way would you be able to reach the seat in front of you. IN EVERY ROW! I was like damn! all the employees are dressed up old school vintage styles and even the previews are introduced in an old school way like when I was watching movies in the 80′s…. but the theater and bathrooms are clean and all that…. the sodas are normal price for movie theaters though






now as far as the movie goes…. shit it got bad reviews, but how many of these kids remember the 80′s flick? I saw the OG total recall in the theaters and this I thought was even better. they did a good job and I enjoyed it. I give it a sold 75% out of 100 if I was on rotten tomatoes…

so after we left the movie theatre, we hit up this all organic grocery store called “Lassens” which carries my new favorite drink that I was obsessed with at Morongo Casino called “Alodrink” and damn that shit is good! the place is like a smaller boutique grocery store version of Erewhon and it’s right near the trap, so we’ll be hitting that up often…. so still inside an hour of leaving the movie theatre, I get a call from my father in law who hasn’t seen Dark Knight Rises yet. I say, you know what? fuck it, I’ll go with you pops lol! so I shot over real quick to pick him up and I ordered 2 passes with my IMAX card and bang! 2 x $17 = comped!
I never been to the Burbank AMC 16 IMAX, but it was all good….

now damn, watching Dark Knight Rises in IMAX was soooo much better. and to be real? I’ll watch that shit again! I just loved that batman series heavy! I fuck with christopher nolan heavy too….. that new comeback of Superman looks like it’s gonna be dope as fuck! Also, I gotta see the sequel to “Taken” with Liam Neeson. that shit looks hard too…..

Nyjah is already a previous customer of mine and he’s won 2 street leagues and an x-games while being a customer…. so this time he wanted a 2 finger ring and he wanted it to be all white gold, no steel or regular teck deck wheels, he wanted it legit. white gold wheels and all that. we had to measure and work around his hand size to make sure it fit right and all the specs were perfect to his custom/tailor likings….

the wheels and trucks had to sit proportioned to his pinky and index finger and it also had to fit comfortably when the ring was on.

so this past weekend…. we watched Hunger Games, it was aite. Nic loved it though and we also saw Bully and that shit hit a sore spot with me, man that is a hard felt movie right there. damn. DAMN. shit made me angry for a good hour or so after the movie ended… I’ll be damned. anyways… we ate damn good this weekend for Nic’s bday, had boiling crab, ate at Farfallas and made a return to Bottega Louie and Bottega did NOT disappoint us at all!

Friday, I did some shit I haven’t done is so damn long. shit that most regular folks do, but I just haven’t in the longest…. on my way home from a really long week I said fuck this, I’m gonna stop at the liquor store by our house and get me a pint of Henny and some candy bars…..

the cross is solid but barely over 2″ tall with the bail. and that vintage tiffany link chain sets it off nicely!

I really loved like 4 songs strong and liked the rest for sure. I didn’t really know too much about his old album except that baby song….

he’s been rocking the baby jesus heavy! so we had to reload up on them again.. this time we stocked the all black on black which is slightly less in price than the others…. thanks JB and hit me next week when you need that thing! so we went ahead and made a perfect CNC machine made 7 carat VS diamond bezel for a yachtmaster II. we had to CNC it so that the ridges on the end of the bezel matched the factory look. we channel set the diamonds and unlike 100% of the other ones I have seen made before this one, these diamonds are evenly spaced apart and are all barely touching, not spread out inconsistently with spaces like they don’t like each other…. set in 18k gold. and as for consistency, the diamonds we chose for this bezel are all 98% identical to each other. this bezel 5 years ago(when cats were putting 10 carats channel set on a breitling) woulda cost 1/2 the price, but when you get to .25 carat diamond size stones, shit gets real real expensive. and we didn’t mix any SI1′s in this bunch. this is legit all true VS.




I just have a biased opinion now that we finished this. taking off the big blue OEM bezel just made this watch more wearable…. IF YOU HAVE TO PUT DIAMONDS ON A ROLEX, I STRESS AGAIN THE WORDS “HAVE TO” THEN you should hit us up and we will make it happen for you THE RIGHT WAY!
This watch being $40,000 MSRP already with very little maneuverability on price negotiating is pretty much 1 of the most expensive rolex’s being made right now without any diamonds. the good part? I can put the stock bezel back on anytime I want to….. goodbye
