      I’m sure you are aware of J. Lin. He has made a big impact on the asian american community. But did you read about the interview with Mayweather on J. Lin? His choice of words weren’t so great.

      Mayweather’s tweet was:
      “Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he’s Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don’t get the same praise.”
      Nobody has ever scored more points over their first four career starts than Lin. How can Black players do what Lin does every night if he’s the only one who’s done this? I don’t disagree with the hype being due to him being Asian, but I think Lin’s story is remarkable either way. Would it have been as big of a deal for Barack to have been elected president if he were White? Think about it.

      jeremy lin is a good player no doubt but the hype is so fabricated… ya all u asian fans need to stop being sensitive, im asian and i dont like dude hes got no swag and whenever he opens his mouth i wana punch him his too humble for his own good… like metta said dude needs some swag if he wasnt a good ball player then what so special about him other than him being asian? He reminds me of all my white washed chinese friends who play ball. What story does he have? he grew up nice went to harvard and now he plays ball? He aint the only asian to come out of harvard and do something look up korean rapper Tablo. Plus he doesnt even rep Asians like that. At the end of the day Ben baller > Jeremy Lin lol
